Basic Everyday Activities to Improve Health

In order to restore the body to a healthy state we must obey natural law. By following the basic treatment guidelines we are able to support all of our systems and achieve wellness.

Sunshine: Be outside 30 minutes per day. In our busy schedules we tend to forget to take time to be in the rhythm of nature. Don’t forget that your skin produces Vitamin D when exposed to just 15 minutes of sunlight.

Water: Drink half your body weight in ounces of clean water per day. If it is RO what you might want to consider adding electrolyte drops. When you are 3% dehydrated you feel thirsty. When you are 1% dehydrated your brain function is already decreasing.

Air: Taking 100 deep breaths per day will help to increase oxygen, decrease toxic CO2 and reduce stress! Try deep breathing while driving. It will help you remember to breathe and you may become a more relaxed driver. Singing is an excellent way to improve breathing and it raises endorphins which helps relieve pain and can give a feeling of euphoria. So "Keep Singing!" (Little Mermaid)

Diet: Proper nutrition is essential for proper functioning of all your organ systems. Eat nutrient dense food. Make it convenient. Take time to enjoy and chew your food. Take smaller portions. Try not to eat after 8pm. Avoid processed food and GMO’s.

Movement: Depending on your fitness level and health your exercise regimen will differ. Most can benefit from walking 30 minutes per day. You can also try biking, yoga, Qi Gong or Tai Chi. If you have a job where you sit, try to get up and walk around every 30 minutes.

Rest: Good sleep hygiene could be argued to be one of the most important aspects of health. When we sleep our body actively heals. Proper sleep hygiene includes going to bed by 11pm, sleeping in total darkness and no WIFI or cell phones in the bedroom.

Fun: Stress is the real silent killer. Doing something fun every day helps us to let go of stress. Be creative and take time for you! Laugh! Find a comedian a child, whatever it takes make time to laugh.

Move your lymph: Dry Skin Brushing is a great way to move lymph. Lightly brush your skin from your feet and hands to your heart before bed. Castor Oil packs nightly can decrease inflammation and thin the lymph to increase movement.

Increase Vitality: End your showers with a cool 30-second spray.
